Timothy Olson

Marla Caballero

The professional musicians of the Kairos String Quartet have been playing together for over 20 years. We bring that rich experience and our love of music to every performance.  We want to make your significant occasion truly special.

Timothy Olson, violin, originally from Minnesota, has played chamber music and orchestral music most of his life, most recently with the Elgin Symphony. He holds a Bachelor of Music in violin performance from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music.

Kim Milligan, violin, began her studies in piano and violin at the age of four, continuing at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. She has served as principal and section violinist in several community and church orchestras, and teaches violin privately.

Marla Caballero, viola, received her bachelor degree in music education from Illinois Wesleyan University, and masters degree from VanderCook College of Music. She is the director of the Fremd High School orchestras, and has served as adjunct faculty at Judson and Harper Colleges.

Cathy Kuna, cello, a native of Philadelphia, holds degrees in cello performance from Wheaton College Conservatory and Northwestern University. A diverse freelance musician, she has performed with a number of Chicago area rock, folk, and improvising musicians.  She is on faculty at College of DuPage.
